In the morning we headed into Geraldton, mainly to get a few errands done, but the town and its people turned out to be really pleasant and we ended up spending most of the day there. There is is a lovely cathedral there built by an architect turned priest and the foreshore has recently been developed.
In the evening we found a campsite in a somewhat desolate spot on the coast near to Kalbarri national park that we wanted to explore the next day. Again, that incessant wind!
