We visited a two sites to look at Aboriginal rock art. The first site was Nourlangie where there were some rock shelters with paintings on the wall. We were also able to walk up to a couple of look outs with magnificent views.
The second site was a Ubirr which we reached late afternoon, so we were able to enjoy the sunset over the floodplains from the top of the rocks. Being towards the end of the Wet season, the landscape is very green with some lying water still. Earlier in the Wet, this area would have been completely flooded.
