We had an unexpectedly cool night last night, so feeling refreshed and with the morning still cool, we decided to stay at Katherine Gorge and do the walk along the top of the first gorge to the Southern Rock Pool. It was a lovely walk with a superb lookout over the gorge and the pool was nice and cold for once with a wonderful shower at the far end.
